International Studies and Economics Student, University of Florida
MORGAN COOK
I’m the first person in my immediate family to have an interest in international affairs, a passion for traveling or a passport. Despite my family’s lack of international experience, they have emotionally and financially supported me in every one of my dreams. Through my experiences at the University of Florida, I have been able to broaden my family’s global perspective through my stories. I’ve convinced my grandmother that Africa is not a country, persuaded my father to understand Islam is a religion of peace and inspired a love for the world in my younger sisters.
This is a reflection of my global experiences at the University of Florida and their impact on my life and loved ones.
